This is absolutely not running related, but I thought it was fun to share. I’ve been playing the Pokémon video games since I was 11 years old. My favourite of the 649 (and counting) creatures is Bulbasaur. He’s not the most useful, powerful or versatile, but still my favourite. A little while back I found this graphic on tumblr that describes me surprisingly well.

I Like Me

New years, milestones and transitions often make me get involved in self-reflection. I went through a busy 2012 and loved almost every minute of it. I’m very proud of that year, but it’s time to focus on 2013. I find myself in transition once again in 2013. Being newly single (again) I find myself being very introspective. My biggest goal is to meet the girl who will be my best friend, life partner and eventually start a family. I think there’s an important step I need to do before anything else: I need to like myself. Weekly Nutrition Tip #2

Tip #2: If it’s a plant, eat it. If it’s made in a plant, don’t! The tip is simple, but it’s built on some really complicated background. The basic premise is that I encourage you to eat whole plants, vegetables and natural foods. I discourage eating overly processed foods, like foods from a factory. Processed foods have a lot of things that aren’t very good for the body: Processed foods usually contain excessive amounts of salt, preservatives and fillers.
