Training On A Cruise Ship
Last week I enjoyed a week-long cruise aboard the Caribbean Princess with my family. The ship visited The Bahamas, Curacao and Aruba. While touring on the first day, we went to the gym and I signed up for a boot camp. That was a fantastic decision. I had to pay for the four sessions, but it would be very good to have scheduled classes at an intensity appropriate to my age group. You Win This Round Flu…
I knew this was coming but I didn’t realize how lousy it would feel. I’m in bed, wrapped up in half-a-dozen layers trying to stay warm in a house that I bet already feels like a sauna. A flu got me, and it is all my fault. For the last month, I’ve been doing a lot of rotating shifts for work. That means I would work during the day, then come in at night, maybe get a day off, then go back to either nights or days. Tannenbaum 10k Race Report

I had run the Tannenbaum 10k in 2010 but the course was very different then. I signed up for this race on a whim because I knew some other people from my local Running Room who were going to be doing it too.
