Barrel Chested?
We had a meeting last Sunday for the pacers for the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon (more on the meeting another time). The gentleman in charge was giving out some old shirts as random prizes, but he said the mediums he had wouldn’t fit me because I am too “Barrel Chested.” I’m sensitive about my body shape so that comment has stuck with me for a while. New Diet: Week 3 – Low Energy
This week was an awkward learning experience. I was unable to exercise for a lot of this week because of my recent Laser Eye Surgery “Enhancement.” It was particularly frustrating on Tuesday and Wednesday because I’m a marathon clinic co-instructor at my local Running Room. It was hard to see the group go out without me. In addition to the no exercise, we had an all-you-can-eat wings event last Wednesday. New Diet: Week 2 – Derailed
I guess things can’t go as expected. They never do… I knew I was going to need a Laser Eye Surgery “enhancement” but I was expecting it later in June. through some scheduling voodoo I would up having it last Friday. Now I’m medically forbidden from exercising for at least a week. It also didn’t help my diet that I missed last Wednesday’s run due to the thunderstorm. So unfortunately, no weight loss this week, and probably none in the week to come. I’ll make up for it when I recover, I hope.
