Inspiration/Perspiration

I had an interesting experience running a little 7k last night. It was 34 degrees Celsius at 7pm! And it felt like 41ÂșC with the humidex. It almost felt like running through something thick. Someone once told me that the sweat on your shirt is a measure of the effort when running. For example, if the sweat stain under your neck is 4 inches down means you worked harder than a person who had a sweat stain that only went 2 inches down. Pre-Race Jitters

Apparently I have readers now. Thank you to all 5 of you! Please leave comments to let me know that you are out there… I have a race coming up in about 9 days and I’m surprisingly nervous about it. I’m running the Highland Yard 10k in Minden. The very first race I ran was the Highland Yard 5k last summer, so it feels like a kind of milestone or anniversary.
