Niagara Falls Half-Marathon Race Report

Close enough. Those are the words I would to describe my race last weekend at the Niagara Falls Half-Marathon. It’s certainly a different experience from Toronto. As I mentioned in this post, this was to be the penultimate race of this rather lackluster season. I wasn’t feeling 100% so I didn’t set the bar too high. Niagara Half-Marathon Goals

It feels like I just wrote one of these last week! This Sunday I’m running the Niagara Falls Half-Marathon. I suppose I’ll call this my actual goal race for this lousy season since last week was ‘only 5k’. Normally I also scoff at a half-marathon too as ‘only a half.’ I started this season with a marathon training schedule and some long runs of almost 26km. Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront 5k Race Report

Yesterday I ran the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront 5k and then went out to cheer on the rest of the athletes. It was a day of new experiences and appreciation for the sport I love. This is a rather long post with lots of photos! Before anything else, I want to say a HUGE thank you to the organizers and volunteers that made this event possible.
