Hacked!
As you may have noticed, the site was down for a few days. I had the “honour” of being one of many that were ‘hacked by Hmei7‘. Maybe I should consider myself to be in elite company of Hmei7 also hacked Yamaha and Siemens. Fortunately it wasn’t a big mess and all the content is still here. There was a really helpful post on the WordPress Support Forums to help get me back up. I don’t know much about php databases and such, but I was able to hack something back together. Photo with Levar Burton and More!
Totally not related to running at all, but I wanted to share this photo. Today I went to Fan Expo in Toronto with my friends Mei Ling Chen and Norman Goh. While there, we took a picture with Levar Burton! I remember him best as Geordi La Forge on the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was the Chief Engineer on the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701-D). I think the character he portrayed helped shape my decision to become an engineer myself. It was a real honour to meet him and take a picture with him. Blog Name?
I have decided that this blog should have a name. This blog used to be called “Not Running Away” but I got rid of that because I didn’t like starting the title with a negation. I still plan to call it paulradcliffe.me, but I think the blog needs some sort of subtitle. There are a lot of cleverly named blogs I follow like ChatterRunGirl, Running With Spatulas, Breaking My Runners In, I’ve Always Been A Joiner and Barefoot Journey, just to name a few.
