New Diet: Week 7 – Sleep works!
This was a surprisingly successful week! I think I can attribute it to my new secret weapon: SLEEP! In previous update about my diet, I complained about being hungry, grumpy and tired. I complained that I was finding it hard to do my workouts because of lack of energy. Being rigourous about sleep has left me less hungry, with more energy and better able to complete my workouts! New Diet: Week 6 – Hopeful
This week went better than I expected. I hope that’s a good thing. I’m down about 2 pounds from last week. That means I’ve lost about 6 pounds since starting this diet. Not great, but much better than gaining 6 pounds. I worry the weight I lost this week wasn’t permanent. If it was just water weight or muscle mass that I lost, it may all come back really quickly. New Diet: Week 5 – Tired
This isn’t going so well. I’m going through some very negative adjectives describing this diet. A little hard to stay motivated. I’m continuing to struggle with having enough energy to exercise. I know that a caloric debt is the way to lose weight. However, during every run and workout, I can feel that I don’t have much energy. I know what fat metabolism feels like, but it’s really discouraging to feel it after only 2km. Part of me wants to think this is a good idea, where I’m training my body to perform with less sugar.
