STWM 5k Goals and Prep
On Sunday, I’m running the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon 5k. After I finish I plan to find a good spot to cheer on my many friends that are running the half and full! There’s A LOT of you racing this weekend, so rather than risk missing anyone, I’ll just say GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! I find it a bit unusual at all that I’m getting amped up about a 5k. Dopey Training Plan
Before anything else, I’d like to thank my lovely readers! I’m not sure who you all are, but I appreciate those of you who I’ve met and contacted. And I really appreciate that you read and reply to my random rantings! I plan to start publishing on a more regular basis. For the last few weeks I’ve managed to do 3 posts a week, and I hope to keep up that pace for the forseeable future! Early Bird Pricing
Even though running is one of the cheapest sports, it still has some costs: There are small fixed costs like shirts, shorts, belts and other gear. There are also consumables including shoes andĀ gels. But those are still pretty small. A rather large cost that’s hard to avoid is races. I’m planning my races for the upcoming Winter and Spring. I plan on hitting the “Southern Ontario Triple Crown” again of Chilly, ATB and the GFTM.
