Oasis Zoo Run Goals
I’ve gotten kinda rusty at this racing business. I used to do it all the time… probably TOO often. But it’s been over 4 months since I actually ran a race. On Saturday, I’m doing the Oasis Zoo Run 10k at the Toronto Zoo. This will be the third year in a row that I’m doing this race. Fall Training Schedule
Before anything else in today’s post, I want to highlight a comment that Prudence made to yesterday’s post about my Pizza Dream. I’ve never had my dreams analyzed, and her description gave me a lot to think about! I love everyone’s comments, but this one took the cake (or the pizza…) On to today’s topic… I whipped up a little something for myself for the next 6 weeks. No Fall Full
I just thought I’d post it officially that I’m not going to do the Hamilton Marathon, or any full marathon this fall. I’m sad, but I think it’s for the best. It was really rough having to withdraw from the Berlin Marathon. Putting the Hamilton Marathon on my radar gave me a bit of hope. However, as this oddball season progresses it’s becoming increasingly clear that I wouldn’t be ready for a full marathon this fall.
