The Edge of Injury
I’ve got Lady Gaga’s Edge of Glory stuck in my head. The title seemed appropriate for this post. The last week has been a grind. I had that great 70km week after Around The Bay. Then a similarly hardcore week afterwards, including an 8km race. But I’m hurting everywhere, especially my ankles and calves. I have the trademark over-training symptoms. Nearing End Of Season
It’s less than 3 weeks until my goal race for this season, the Virgin London Marathon in London, England! Everyone I train with knows and wishes me well, but it hasn’t really hit me that I’m going yet. I thought this was a good time to reflect on my crazy season and set some goals for the next few weeks. I’ve been using dailymile to track my runs since last April. I’m really happy with its functionality for tracking distances. The social media aspect is a really neat bonus. ATB Mini-Taper and Race Plan
Hello readers! For a while I thought I was blogging in the dark. Now I’m very happy to have readers, all like… 4 of you :D. It’s definitely motivation to keep blogging and put interesting and valuable information on this blog.
