Pokémon Relapse!

The generation VI Pokémon games, Pokémon X and Y were released on Saturday. And little 11-year-old me couldn’t resist! Didn’t get much running done this weekend. So much for the gaming withdrawl I had a couple of months ago! I was in the prime demographic for the first iteration of Pokémon when it was released in 1996. It had a certain “schoolyard appeal” that was undeniable. I remember going out at recess, and connecting a cable between our Nintendo Game Boys to trade or battle. New Photo Display

I keep a photo display in my room by my medal collection. I started to worry that the photo collection was getting quite stale. Most of the photos were from my university days, and some are as old as 2003. So last April I collected and printed new, more recent photos. I’m sorry that this and a few post to come aren’t quite running-related. But, then again, this is my blog and I can do what I want with it! But I do thank you all for reading it!
