I Need A Bike?

The peer pressure to move into triathlons is tremendous. It’s like there’s supposed to be a natural progression from distance running is to move to distance swim/bike/run. And the thought of completing an Ironman Triathlon is an undeniable life-achievement for the bucket list. My friend Hong Vuong recenty completed his second Ironman Triathlon! Fall Wishlist/Rewards

I made myself a little wishlist back in May. I did get the shirt and I quite like its steampunk pattern. I bought the book, but I haven’t read it yet. I think it’s time to start a new little wishlist for the fall. Since I’m tracking my spending starting September 1 as part of my new fall habits, making a shopping list seems prudent. Speaking of being prudent, one of my lovely readers named Prudence made a great comment on this post recommending that I use these things as rewards for achieving a goal. Gaming Withdrawl

I just realized it’s been over 6 weeks since I sat down to play a video game. Part of my overly ambitious plan from May involved packing them away. That didn’t work at the time, but it’s kind of happened by accident. And I have mixed feelings about the whole situation.   I was well aware of how much time I would spend on video games.
