My Health Incident

I seemed to have everything going for me: Happily married, bought a house, great job, and super-cute newborn baby. Then something went inexplicably wrong. On February 2, 2019, I checked into the emergency room at the Trillium Health Centre Mississauga Hospital with weakness in my legs and urinary problems. This whole incident probably started weeks before with the string of flu’s that hit me in rapid succession. I was admitted to a hospital room and became increasingly confused. On the evening of February 5, I suffered a “Code Blue” (stopped breathing). The doctors and nurses performed CPR and managed to revive me.[…continue reading]

Unexpected Mobile-Lite Experience

A lot of people start the New Year with New Year’s Resolutions. I didn’t make any firm ones, but I got one by accident that has turned into an interesting experience. I currently use a BlackBerry Priv as my mobile phone. I got it in December 2016 to replace my old BlackBerry Q10. I really like it, especially the slide-out keyboard. But, it seems I used it too much and the battery life was becoming quite poor. I ordered a new battery and tried installing it myself on January 3. My SUPER Mississauga Marathon 5 and a half, 2018

I had a super pair of races for the Mississauga Marathon in May 2018. This post is a little late, but better late than never! As mentioned before, I was doing the half-marathon as fundraiser for the Trillium Health Partners Foundation for the Trillium Health Partners Hospitals. I exceeded my goal! Thank you to everyone who donated!!   EXPO Spring 2018 was a challenging season, and I didn’t train as much as I would have liked.
