Around The Bay Group Pic… Growing into something ridiculous
So… It looks like I had too much time on my hands. This little photo got out of hand. It started as a nice keepsake, then got creative, then a little ridiculous. I love it!
The original photo was taken with Dio Torne’s iPhone and posted on Twitter. It’s a picture of the Square One Running Room‘s marathon clinic in Copps Coliseum before the 2013 Around The Bay 30k. Sam J. probably doesn’t realize it, but while we were collecting for the group shot, the camera got passed to her and she took the original photo.
As it turns out, three people from my marathon clinic weren’t there, so the first edit of the photo was to add them in. It’s is obviously flawed, but I used my mediocre skills to splice the missing people in using photos taken by Bob Didier.
After I posted it on Facebook, a discussion started…
So, recovering for a second night and not exercising, I find myself with time to add a few more people that were missing. I added a couple others from our group that ran but missed the photo, and our two intrepid photographers!
And then I got a little carried away… While I was at it, I decided to add Godzilla, a Megazord and Giant Panda to commemorate their visit to Toronto. So now we have this…
And, just to make it really fun, I made it into an animated GIF!
