Splits
I identify that I’m painfully inflexible, particularly in my hamstrings. I came across this post on Tumblr several weeks ago and it intrigued me. With discipline and care, could do enough stretching to eventually do the splits? I’ve re-assembled the original post here to make it a little more readable: Stretch 1 – Try not to let the front knee come beyond the toes. January in Review
One month has passed in 2014 and I guess this is a good time to check on those New Year’s Resolutions (spoiler alert: It’s not going well). Goal: SET A NEW HALF-MARATHON PB (< 2:03:22) Status: Doubtful in the short-term The Chilly Half-Marathon is in less than 31 days. Time is ticking down and it’s starting to drive me a little bit nuts. Dopey Hangover and Hitting The Books
I got home from the WDW Dopey Challenge without to much damage to my body. I did have a cold which convinced me not to exercise for a few days. I’m acutely aware I ate too much while at Disney World, but I was on vacation! So much food at Disney! I’m also acutely aware that post-race blues are not only common but also troublesome. So right after the race I re-focused myself mentally on new goals: The Chilly Half-Marathon and overall health improvement.
