New Diet: Week 5 – Tired
This isn’t going so well. I’m going through some very negative adjectives describing this diet. A little hard to stay motivated. I’m continuing to struggle with having enough energy to exercise. I know that a caloric debt is the way to lose weight. However, during every run and workout, I can feel that I don’t have much energy. New Diet: Week 4 – Hungry
This was an interesting week for my diet. I was finally able to officially start training this season. I started with a total of 5 runs, adding up to over 40km. Tuesday and Wednesday were particularly challenging because they were so hot! I’m definitely feeling the effects of the diet, and not in a good way. During hard workouts, I feel tired and worn out, like I want to go to sleep. I think this is because I have fewer carbohydrates and free sugars in my system. Pacing A Lot In The Fall!
After my fun experience being a pace bunny at the Oakville Half-Marathon last fall, I decided to apply to pace a bunch of other races this year. I enjoy running a little slower, it’s a new challenge, and I save a bunch of cash too.
