We’ve had bizarre weather lately, going from frost warnings to 30 degree humidex. But there are glimpses of sunlight, and high UV warnings are no joke! I was browsing the Marathon Maniacs bulletin board the other day and noticed a good thread. Someone asked if they should be wearing sunscreen during runs. Super Safety Tip #7: Carry Identification Previous safety tips have recommended that you carry money and your mobile phone. I don’t want it to sounds like you’re carrying your whole house with you, but I also recommend that you run with your identification. In the event of an emergency, you may not be able to tell important information to first responders.
