Pre-Race Jitters
Apparently I have readers now. Thank you to all 5 of you! Please leave comments to let me know that you are out there… I have a race coming up in about 9 days and I’m surprisingly nervous about it. Bread and Honey 15k Race Report
This was my last race of the spring 2011 season on June 5, 2011. I’m quite happy with my 1:29:05 because it’s just below my 90 minute goal. However, it was also a great race of lessons to learn. I was a little sketchy about the race at first because the website was ve ry sparse and the posted maps were a little sketchy. New Shoes
With all the information about minimalistic running and racing flats that I’ve been bombarded with in recent months, it was only a matter of time before I bought in. I just bought this pair of Saucony Kinvaras. I’ve been wearing them around the house for a little while. My first reaction is that they feel bizarre. My current running shoes and even my walking shoes I use for day-to-day travel have the typical 2.4cm raised heel.
