How I Accidentally Registered for a Race
In the past, I have had a habit of registering for too many races. I have since learned my lesson and have been properly focusing only on one true goal race each season. That doesn’t mean I don’t do other races in a season; it just means that I definitely treat those races as “catered training runs.” It’s one of the reasons that being a Pace Bunny is so appealing. Change of Plans
I love making plans. For whatever reason, I feel sad whenever my plans change. But, a change in the plan is just an opportunity to do more planning. NEW GYM The first big change is that I have committed to a 1-year membership with Goodlife Fitness. I’ve been debating switching gyms for a while. I was debating between staying with the City of Mississauga Parks and Recreation fitness clubs or switching to Goodlife Fitness. I Registered for the Toronto Sprint Spartan Race
I have mentioned that I’m leery of “mud” and “adventure” races. Even the Color Run I did last year was quite out of my comfort zone. But, fate has an interesting way of throwing such discomfort in your face. This week, the ever-lovely Nicole posted a contest on her blog that included a giveaway for an entry to a Spartan Run.
