Dopey Training: Week 3

Well $&%±. This week did not go well at all… I left an ambiguous note on last week’s Dopey Training update that the something went wrong last Tuesday morning which prevented me from measuring my “Dopey Health Stats.” Some sort of stomach bug just demolished me on Tuesday morning before work. I lost so much fluid and nutrients that I could barely walk and didn’t go to work. I slept most of the day, then skipped my run and weight training planned for that evening. NOTE: Week 2 went well until Tuesday morning when I planned to post this. I’ll explain it all in the Week 3 posting soon, but suffice to say, I wasn’t in a good condition to be taking my Dopey Health Stats Time is ticking down quickly to the Walt Disney World Dopey Challenge. I’m starting to think about packing. How do you pack for 4 races?? I’m going to need to bring a LOT of gear. Dopey Training: Week 1, Really!

I’ve finished what I’m calling Week 1 of my Dopey Training. There were weeks -1 and 0, but I look at those as ramp-up weeks. This is the first week that felt really serious. And there’s very little of November left, so all I have left is December and then it’s time for the Walt Disney World Dopey Challenge. It feels like it will be here REALLY soon!
