Dopey Training: Week 0

Here another update of what I hope will become regular installments of my Dopey training. My clinic starts tonight and so I consider my first run with my clinic as the start of Week 1 of Dopey Training. Dopey Health Stats Resting Heart Rate: 52 bpm Weight: 209.0 lbs Body Fat Percentage: 28.5% (I’ll add hours of sleep and a flexibility metric next week)   I didn’t get as many miles in this week as I expected, but they were higher intensity miles which I guess I needed. Dopey Training: Week Minus One

As far as I’m concerned 2013 is already a bad memory. My last race of 2013 is in the bag and I feel like I learned a lot of hard lessons from my struggles this year. I’m already squarely focused on 2014! Andrea made a really nice comment on my last post: Here’s to the end of the 2013 running season and onto great things in 2014. Before anything else, I’d like to thank my lovely readers! I’m not sure who you all are, but I appreciate those of you who I’ve met and contacted. And I really appreciate that you read and reply to my random rantings! I plan to start publishing on a more regular basis.
