Today is Earth Day and I wanted to share an economical and realistic idea of trying to do something for the Earth. Over the last year there was a lot of unhelpful talk about completely ending all use of fossil fuels immediately. It’s a laudable goal, but without a massive improvement in technology, massive reduction energy consumption, and/or population dive of biblical proportions, we aren’t going to independent of fossil fuel use any time soon.
