Passive Injury and Unhappy Health Care Customer

I vented about my displeasure with the health care system in a post over a month ago. I’m scheduled to see a neurologist next week regarding my injury and even though I haven’t had the appointment yet, I already feel dissatisfied as a customer. First, I was expected to wait 2 months for an appointment with this guy. 2 months!? The health care system honestly expected me to wait, crippled and unable to run for 2 months? Bib Display

I posted about my medal display a little while ago and how I’m really proud of it. In the same spirit, I thought I’d share how I display my race bibs! From what I understand, some people just throw them away after the race. But I think they have lots of value. You only get the medal at the end of the race, but this flimsy piece of paper traveled the whole distance with you! And they’re valuable! When you register for a race, you aren’t paying for a medal. Back On My Feet

I wasn’t sure what I was going to do tonight. Being the control freak that I am, not having a plan is disconcerting. When I lack a plan I usually wind up wasting time on Facebook or a video game or something. But, true to my word of reclaiming my life through baby steps, I decided I had to do something!
