Blog Love!
I want to highlight some blog love I’ve been getting. This website is hosted on HostPapa. They send out a little e-mail newsletter every month with news and updates. In the most recent edition of the HostPapa Insider (Volume #5, Issue #5) they mentioned this blog in their customer showcase! I’m honoured! Run Away from Hospitals
This post is in the spirit of Motivation Monday’s. I’m starting to see more and more often. There are some motivational pieces that are incentives to work harder to achieve health and fitness (yes, pictures of fit women are motivating for guys too). There are other motivation pieces that are designed to scare you away from being sedintary. This post is definitely the latter; it’s much more of a stick than a carrot. Cheering On The Mississauga Marathon!
This was a new experience for me: On Sunday, May 5 I was a spectator for a Marathon, the Mississauga Marathon and half-marathon. With all the build-up and training everyone else is doing, it was hard not to be frustrated that I was unable to do this race. But, being injured as I was, withdrawing from this race and not being a pacer was preferable to further injury and/or a pacing failure like Chilly.
