Truth Bomb
Over a year ago, I saw this “TRUTH BOMB” image on a Facebook page, and I think it’s particularly apt for New Year’s Resolution time. Healthy Grocery Shop – $100 – Too ExpensiveDinner Date – $100 – Reasonable It’s true that a nice dinner out for two with dessert, drinks, and tip can easily approach $100. It’s not like you can dine in any restaurants in Ontario anyways right now! And even Uber Eats delivery can creep up near $100. You Never Know Who You’re Inspiring
This seemed appropriate for a Motivation Monday. I was feeling kinda down last week: The really cold weather was discouraging me from running and forced me to cut a run short. And I’ve been missing a lot of gym sessions with my trainer because of scheduling conflicts. And then I was sent flat on my butt by a cold. John Scott, the People’s MVP
This is a story about a hockey player. But even more than that, it’s a story about a human. I started writing this as a Facebook post but it got much longer and detailed than I expected.
