Good Kinda Hurt
I wanted to capture this feeling: A couple of days after two good races I feel spent, in a good way! My lymph nodes are swelled, I think I’m running a fever, my blood sugar is all over the place, I’m dizzy, so sore I can’t lie still, so sore that it’s hard to move. Mississauga Marathon 5k and Half-Marathon Race Reports
I ran Mississauga Marathon Starbucks Hazel 5k and Recharge With Milk Half-Marathon last weekend. Yes, both. Why?? Because I can! Originally, I planned to only do the 5k because I would then get the whole Mississauga set. Then I decided I was going to fundraise for the Trillium Health Partners Foundation, and the half-marathon got added. April Review
I felt really motivated by the weekly Dopey Training posts I did in the fall. These monthly reviews aren’t as frequent but similarly valuable for keeping me honest. I’m actually getting through my New Year’s Resolutions list quite effectively so I may be updating my goals in the near future. Like March, I was very motivated to exercise. I’m starting to see physical progress. the exercise is helping me get through my change in relationship status, but taper has been a little rough.
