Oakville Half-Marathon Pace Report

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of pacing the Nutrience Oakville Half-Marathon. It was my 3rd time pacing this race, and my slowest pacing assignment yet! I previously I discussed how I “accidentally” registered for this assignment. In Praise of Tai Chi

I’ve been learning Tai Chi for just over a year now and I’m really enjoying it. I’m training at Ji Hong Tai Chi‘s Mississauga location. They have a much larger location in Markham, but the Mississauga location is growing quickly. Tai Chi always seemed to have a mystical mystique to it. It’s something ancient, yet meditative and modern. Yoga has a similar appeal, but are very different in practice. The original Chen-Style was actually a way to teach Wu Shu (Kung Fu) Martial Arts technique. Toronto Sprint Spartan Race Report

On Saturday, July 18 I ran SURVIVED my first OCR (obstacle course race), the Toronto Sprint Spartan Race. Like the Colour Run last summer, this was a very new experience which I’m glad to write about it in a “Race Report.” I tried getting as much of this down as possible right after the race to preserve the detail for this report, but I apologize if some details are out of order.
