Unexpected Mobile-Lite Experience

A lot of people start the New Year with New Year’s Resolutions. I didn’t make any firm ones, but I got one by accident that has turned into an interesting experience. I currently use a BlackBerry Priv as my mobile phone. I got it in December 2016 to replace my old BlackBerry Q10. I really like it, especially the slide-out keyboard. But, it seems I used it too much and the battery life was becoming quite poor. I ordered a new battery and tried installing it myself on January 3. October 2018 Review

Let’s just accept the fact I’ve had no updates since April 2018. Oops. My bad. I hope to do better.   Running Updates No, I didn’t run Scotia this year. I was supposed to be a pacer, but didn’t train enough over the summer and bailed out pretty early. I have been going to the gym A LOT though. Since changing trainers I’ve been very happy at LA Fitness. The new trainer seems to focus on my form much more than my intensity, which helps me stay motivated to come up to 3 times a week. Square One Running Room is Closing!

The official announcement was made by the district manager before run club on Wednesday, October 24: The Square One Running Room‘s last day of business would be November 24, 2018. This is a sad milestone for me. This has literally been my “home away from home” for a long time. MEMORIES ALONG THE RUN My first day really running outside with a clinic was June 8, 2010.
