Strength Training Dilemma
I don’t need to go into detail about how valuable strength training is for marathon runners. I can measure my marathon successes directly upon how much strength training I’ve done that season. And I know that such things will make me lose weight, build muscle mass, look better and hopefully be more confident. Overtrain Train Wreck
You’d think I’d have learned by now. I went through this just a few months ago! I was so proud of myself that I ran 43km over 5 separate runs. It was my first real week of true training since the Goofy Challenge. But, I paid for it. By the end of Sunday’s 10 mile run I was struggling and suffering.
