On RMR and Calories

I saw this posting in Tumblr and was moved to reblog it and share it here. It’s about Basal Metabolit Rate (BMR) and Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR). I’ll let the slides speak for themselves first: (click on any slide for a bigger image) There are few things that I think I really important to highlight here: You need to consume more than your RMR worth of calories just to survive! Mobile Phone Trouble

This is a non-running post about aging technology and a nasty consequence of the new Wireless Code of Conduct. If you’re on a three-year contract, consider yourselves lucky! I just got a plan for my mom and I’m glad she’s guaranteed her rate for 3 years! It’s been almost 3 years, but my trusty Blackberry 9800 Torch is starting to die on me.
