Training Plan Jan/Feb 2015

To my surprise, the Chilly Half-Marathon is just around the corner! Less than 2 months away! So, I really needed to make a formal training plan for the next 2 months. Here it is!   This thing probably requires some explanation: The red numbers with the “RR half” rows are for my the Half-Marathon Clinic I’m leading at the Square One Running Room right now. November Training Plan

Although my results from the summer season weren’t great, I was still impressed by the Jack Daniels-style training program. I was so impressed that I purchased a custom training plan from Project Run S.M.A.R.T to follow until the Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon in May.     My first priority in my schedule was to make sure I included the runs I have to do as clinic instructor for my upcoming half-marathon clinic (it’s not too late to register!). Gym Conumdrum

I’m planning ahead and have a bit of a conundrum. I’m inspired to invest in my training this fall and winter, so I need some tools to do it.   I’m probably going buy a full membership in a gym starting this fall. I quite a few things on my wishlist including an indoor track, yoga classes, and pool for early-morning swims. Indoor Track: My preference is to run outside.
