Gym Conumdrum
I’m planning ahead and have a bit of a conundrum. I’m inspired to invest in my training this fall and winter, so I need some tools to do it. I’m probably going buy a full membership in a gym starting this fall. I quite a few things on my wishlist including an indoor track, yoga classes, and pool for early-morning swims. I Need A Bike?
The peer pressure to move into triathlons is tremendous. It’s like there’s supposed to be a natural progression from distance running is to move to distance swim/bike/run. And the thought of completing an Ironman Triathlon is an undeniable life-achievement for the bucket list. My friend Hong Vuong recenty completed his second Ironman Triathlon! His race report is epic and intense! It’s a very detailed, almost graphic description of what the 140.6 feels like. …Or Bust?
In a post from about a month ago, I declared I was going to run Berlin Or Bust! After a tough month of reality checks, my goal of running the Berlin Marathon in September seems pretty far away. The worst part is I think I might be okay with that… If I was following my training schedule for Berlin, I would have needed to do 23km Sunday night. I didn’t run at all.
