Preliminary Diagnosis: I’m An Idiot

A lot of people have been asking me about my injury. I know a lot more now than I did when I had to stop running a month ago. I’ve gone through a battery of tests and seen a few specialists and I think I have a preliminary diagnosis: Posterior tibial impingement, compartment syndrome and tarsal tunnel syndrome. Overtrain Train Wreck

You’d think I’d have learned by now. I went through this just a few months ago! I was so proud of myself that I ran 43km over 5 separate runs. It was my first real week of true training since the Goofy Challenge. But, I paid for it. By the end of Sunday’s 10 mile run I was struggling and suffering.
