I had a very humbling run on Wednesday night. I felt sore, sluggish, out of shape, and to top it all off, I had to run to a bathroom during the run. It’s with that kind of humility that I am looking forward to 4 weeks of easy runs to build my base fitness up again. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised I’m so rusty: I haven’t been eating or sleeping well since the Mississauga races. I haven’t been cross training, stretching or foam rolling either. My Jack Daniels Inspired Summer Training Program: Part 1

I took a ‘leadership’ course during my masters degree, which turned into a group ‘Life-coaching’ workshop. One of the outputs was a life statement that “I exist to bring order to chaos and live up to my responsibilities to others.” So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that one of my favourite things to do is plan and organize. April Plans

As I mentioned in this post, I’ve felt like the March had unfun winter weather. But it’s a new month, the snow is finally melting, and it’s time for a new start! Around The Bay this year was a fun but humbling experience. I knew going in that I wasn’t properly prepared, but that didn’t prepare me for how much it would hurt!
