New Home Gym

My most successful season was the spring of 2012. I went back through my records trying to understand what made that season so successful. One of the things that I noticed was I did weight training 3 times a week in that period. Now that the Chilly Half-Marathon is behind me, I have the flexibility to do more strength training and cross-training. Chilly Training Run Photos

This morning, my clinic went to Burlington to run a “dress rehearsal” for the Chilly Half-Marathon in two weeks. We did most of the route, and it always helps to see the landmarks. I hope the conditions are better in two weeks because it was cold, windy, snowy, and the sidewalks were snowy and icy. Here’s a photo spam! Dopey Training: Week Minus One

As far as I’m concerned 2013 is already a bad memory. My last race of 2013 is in the bag and I feel like I learned a lot of hard lessons from my struggles this year.
