Egg Nog Jog Race Goals

This weekend I’m running the Egg Nog Jog 10.8k presented by Georgetown Runners. There are SO many “short” runs in December, but this year I’m doing this race! I’ve been meaning to do this event for years, but because of it’s small cap of 600 runners, it usually sells out really early. I jumped on it this year and registered at the end of September!     There are some neat things about this race I’m looking forward to. It has a medal, which is nice. Chilly Training Run Photos

This morning, my clinic went to Burlington to run a “dress rehearsal” for the Chilly Half-Marathon in two weeks. We did most of the route, and it always helps to see the landmarks. I hope the conditions are better in two weeks because it was cold, windy, snowy, and the sidewalks were snowy and icy. Here’s a photo spam! Mississauga Marathon Recon

The final leg of the “Southern Ontario Triple Crown” is fast approaching. My reconnaissance post about the Valley Inn Road hill for Around The Bay was very popular, so I thought I’d do something similar in the lead-up to the Mississauga Marathon and Half-Marathon. I run many parts of this course on a regular basis, so I have experience not only running the full route, but also running many variations of it.
