Return to Pacing!
I recently found out that I will be the 2:30 continuous pacer at the Niagara Falls Half-Marathon this fall! Nicole will be pacing the half too! I’m approaching it with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. My actual goal race for this season is the Ottawa Army Run Half-Marathon in September. I’m also doing the Disneyland Half-Marathon at the end of August for fun and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Half-Marathon in November back-up goal race or fun run. My Jack Daniels Inspired Summer Training Program: Part 1
I took a ‘leadership’ course during my masters degree, which turned into a group ‘Life-coaching’ workshop. One of the outputs was a life statement that “I exist to bring order to chaos and live up to my responsibilities to others.” So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that one of my favourite things to do is plan and organize. April Review
I felt really motivated by the weekly Dopey Training posts I did in the fall. These monthly reviews aren’t as frequent but similarly valuable for keeping me honest. I’m actually getting through my New Year’s Resolutions list quite effectively so I may be updating my goals in the near future. Like March, I was very motivated to exercise. I’m starting to see physical progress. the exercise is helping me get through my change in relationship status, but taper has been a little rough.
