Chilly Half-Marathon (and Frosty 5k) Race Report
I had a great run(s) last weekend! I successfully paced the Chilly Half-Marathon around 2:20, and then I ran the Frosty 5k. Marathon Photos got some great pictures of me during the run. I think I’m going to buy the whole package and post it eventually. How did I do both? February Review
So, this was a different kinda month. I started it unable to run because of my calf injury. So I got creative and slashed my calories, and rediscovered weight training and swimming. Unfortunately, my first time back in the pool I got some water in my ear which led to an ear infection 🙁 It’s really nice being back in the gym. Perhaps the only downside is the DOMS. Chilly Goals
On Sunday I will be running the Chilly Half-Marathon in Burlington as the 2:20 run-walk (r/w) pace bunny. This will be the 4th year in a row I’ve run this race, and my second time pacing it. I volunteered to be a pacer at this race for a few reasons. My true goal for the season is the Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon. It’s the first serious full-marathon I’ve done in almost 3 years.
