Training with “Love” – Jennifer Widerstrom
I was watching the new season of The Biggest Loser (season 16) a couple of weeks ago and noticed that they’ve changed the trainers. Jillian Michaels is gone. Her demeanor on the show was usually mean or downright hurtful and hateful, so I’m glad to see her go (though, she can be quite insightful outside the show). There are two new trainers: Jessie Pavelka and Jennifer Widerstrom. I don’t know what to think about Jessie yet. He seems like a typical SoCal fitness junkie. Ottawa Race Report Addendum
I was in a pretty dark mood when I wrote most of my race report for the Ottawa Army Run Half-marathon. But I’m very moved and touched by the supportive comments on the blog post, and on the Facebook and Dailymile shares. I want to thank you for being such good friends. Many of you reminded me that I didn’t really fail and I was being too hard on myself. It’s quite true! If my goal had been 2:20, I would have celebrated 2:17:54. New Look!
After almost 3 years, I’ve decided to give my Blog a little facelift. I have updated the theme, background, and structure, but the content will remain the same. I really liked the “Fastfood” theme by TwoBeers Crew. It looked quite sleek and technological. And I liked how it had dynamic windows and stuff that popped up. But a few people have complained that it was hard to navigate and write comments. So, I tried A LOT of themes but came back to one by TwoBeers Crew. The new theme is called Wallow.
