Vacation Review

So, I was on vacation last week. Yes, really. I had scheduled posts on both my blogs to make it look like I was still around. And kept posting to dailymile and facebook posts continued uninterrupted. When I told people I was going on vacation, their immediate follow-up question was: “What race am I doing?”. I suppose most of my previous vacations have been combined with races. Video Game Hiatus

It’s been a rather long time since I touched a video game. I had gaming withdrawal before, but not this time. This is probably a good thing, but it’s still a big surprise to me. When I was younger, I would game quite regularly. It was part of me growing up. The NES, SNES, N64 and such were prominent fixtures for me. I have a Wii and PS3 collecting dust now. Motivation Monday: Reality Check

I’m essentially reblogging this from Remy’s World. I was critical of a Jillian Micheal’s quote in a Monday Motivation post from a couple of weeks ago.   I was glad to see Mark Remy rebutt this ‘exercise until you puke, faint or die.’ It’s very tempting to push to the point where you risk serious injury. Fight hard, but it’s important to know when to teak a break too.
