New Food Pledge
Change is hard. It’s really hard. But, after about four months in the hospital, I am scared enough to not want to go back. And I’ve seen family and friends languish in hospitals, and that motivates me to to turn it around. Someone asked me: “After almost dying, do you eat whatever you want as if you’re dying, or super carefully?” I’m definitely in the camp of super carefully. Runway Run Race report
First race report inn a long time. I hazard to even call this a “race” , but I guess I have to (re-)start somewhere. The Pearson Runway Run has always been on my radar for many years. But its placement in late September never quite worked out: Too short a distance so close to major half and full-marathons in October. But, since I’m essentially re-learning how to walk, a 2k didn’t seem like too much of a stretch. I signed up online for my wife, our infant daughter, and myself. “Total Cleanse” Juice Cleanse Review
As part of my ongoing recovery and health improvement journey, I went to see a naturopath a few weeks ago. He made a lot of really good suggestions, and gave a lot of really valuable advice. One suggestion was for me to try a juice cleanse. I’d heard about this before, but never tried it myself, until now. I told my wife about this plan and she agreed to do it along with me.
