Fall Wishlist/Rewards

I made myself a little wishlist back in May. I did get the shirt and I quite like its steampunk pattern. I bought the book, but I haven’t read it yet. I think it’s time to start a new little wishlist for the fall. Since I’m tracking my spending starting September 1 as part of my new fall habits, making a shopping list seems prudent. Speaking of being prudent, one of my lovely readers named Prudence made a great comment on this post recommending that I use these things as rewards for achieving a goal. Restarted Season!

My 23km run on Sunday was a success! It was great! I was a little stiff starting the run, but I took my time, did my 5-and-1’s, and finshed strong. The stiffness went away as I ran, and I found I was speeding up towards the end. There was wind, some rain, and it was even pretty dark when I finshed, but I think that just made it more epic! Run for the Second Beep

You’ll have to excuse me for being a little extra philosophical and metaphysical today. I think I’ve discovered the analogy of my season! Like many recreational runners, I use a “run-walk” system, similar to the McMillian system and the Running Room’s “10 and 1’s”. I recently figured out how to program my Garmin Forerunner 410 to beep the intervals automatically.
