Chris Pratt and Body Image

This is a different kind of Motivation Monday post, especially after we’ve probably all consumed exorbitant amounts of food for Thanksgiving. I’ve talked about body image a lot (a lot, a lot, a lot). It kind of haunts me but it is a motivating factor in getting healthy. I saw the summer blockbuster movie Guardians of the Galaxy a few months ago and really enjoyed it. Although it was incredibly campy and over the top, it was entertaining in all the ways I love. iPod Down :(

It is with great sadness that I announce that my beloved iPod has died. It came to an unfortunate end following the recent Ottawa Army Run. It rained heavily and I suspect that water has damaged its internal workings. I picked up this iPod in the summer of 2012. Before that, I had a different 6th Generation iPod Nano, which was also put out of commission by running a race during the rain in Ottawa (hmmm… I’ve lost two iPods to almost identical circumstances). Gym Conumdrum

I’m planning ahead and have a bit of a conundrum. I’m inspired to invest in my training this fall and winter, so I need some tools to do it.   I’m probably going buy a full membership in a gym starting this fall. I quite a few things on my wishlist including an indoor track, yoga classes, and pool for early-morning swims. Indoor Track: My preference is to run outside.
