…Or Bust?
In a post from about a month ago, I declared I was going to run Berlin Or Bust! After a tough month of reality checks, my goal of running the Berlin Marathon in September seems pretty far away. The worst part is I think I might be okay with that… If I was following my training schedule for Berlin, I would have needed to do 23km Sunday night. I didn’t run at all. To Berlin?
There are a lot of reasons I wanted to do the BWM Berlin Marathon: It’s one of the World Marathon Majors. I had a notion of doing all of them at one point. I’ve already done Chicago and London. I have a longshot dream of someday qualifying for, and running the Boston Marathon. And I guess New York and Toyko would be nice. So, Berlin seemed like just another logical step. 2012 is Behind Me!
Like one of those distance markers you run by in a race, 2012 is already behind me. It was an unbelievable year, which leaves me a little concerned of how I should top it. It’s often said that a picture is worth a thousand words.
