Kilometers To Run To Burn Off These Foods
I seem to be on a bit of a nutrition tear lately. It’s probably because my clinic is going through several weeks worth of nutrition talks and I’m hyper-aware of information. Top Protein Sources I’ve Recently Eaten
A while ago I talked about how I’ve been enjoying using MyFitnessPal.com to track my nutrition. In that post I also mentioned that I’ve been focusing on maximizing protein while minimizing calories. Protein is a really important macromolecule for a lot of reasons: The first and most obvious is that your muscles are built and repaired using protein you ingest. Second, and perhaps more importantly, protein makes you feel more full. A pure protein source is about 4 calories per gram. The Glutamine Experiment
Along the lines of things I never said I’d do (or do again), I’m taking a new artificial supplement: Glutamine. I’m a little embarrassed that I’m resorting to using another supplement, but I’ll take the chance and document the process for others to see. In the summer of 2012, I was convinced to buy into a system of nutritional supplements called ViSalus. It was essentially a meal replacement or protein powder.
