Early Morning Workouts: An Ode to #5amRunClub

I’ve been running at least once a week in the VERY early morning this season for at least 6 weeks now. I’ve done it before, but I think is the first time I’ve consistently kept renewing my membership in the #5amRunClub. Summer 2015 Training Plan: Early Quality

The Foundation and Injury Prevention Phase of my summer 2015 training just kind of flew by! the 5 runs a week looked really intimidating, especially since a lot of them would be for #5amRunClub. But, I got through most of it! I’m pleasantly surprised by how strong I feel after this base re-building phase. Up next is the Early Quality phase of the program which marked by the introduction of interval work. This period also has a modest increase in mileage. Change of Plans

I love making plans. For whatever reason, I feel sad whenever my plans change. But, a change in the plan is just an opportunity to do more planning. NEW GYM The first big change is that I have committed to a 1-year membership with Goodlife Fitness. I’ve been debating switching gyms for a while. I was debating between staying with the City of Mississauga Parks and Recreation fitness clubs or switching to Goodlife Fitness.
