Blue Pill or Red Pill?

This came across my Facebook feed a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was interesting to think about, and the reaction comments were even more interesting!   The text reads: Take the “blue” pill and you will able to run injury free with your current abilities for the rest of your life Take the “red” pill and take 1.5 hours off your fastest marathon time, with an additional 5 mins each year afterwards, but you will stop running completely in 6 years. New Year’s Resolutions 2015!

Happy New Year to all my lovely readers! And welcome to 2015! It’s surprisingly similar to the start of 2015. But, it is a milestone and chance to start all over again! It’s an opportunity to make New Year’s Resolutions. They went so well last year (not), but hope always springs eternal in January. As I did with the half-year resolutions, they will be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-Sensitive).   LOSE 20 POUNDS OF FAT I will reduce my body fat to 35 pounds by the end of 2015. 2014 In Review

I haven’t published a monthly review since July, but in the spirit of the end of 2014, I figured it was a good time to do a general review of the year.   It was also a great year for the blog. WordPress made a lovely summary visible here.   Here are some of my favourite memories from the year: The Walt Disney World Dopey Challenge was right at the start of 2014, and it was quite a great highlight.
