Last week’s inaugural Throwback Thursday was such a bit hit, I’m going to try to make it a regular occurrence. It will be a mix of Running posts that reminisce about previous races and such, mixed in with posts from my pre-running life. This week’s Throwback isn’t from that far back at all. May Review

I like these monthly reviews. I feel motivated to keep working out because people are ‘watching’. I’ve made a tag just for “Monthly Reviews” so that I can keep them organized and such. This was something of a transition month for me. I took quite a long break in the middle of the month to recharge. Since then, I’ve approached my new Jack Daniels’ inspired training program with gusto. Maybe too much gusto… I’m enjoying running in the pleasant weather, but it will become unbearably warm soon. I’m thinking I should start some regular features on this blog, like starting “Motivation Monday” and “Throwback Thursday” (like this one). I started “Follow Friday” but stopped updating after two iterations. I’ll try to get back on schedule. As I’ve said many times, I like order.   I’ve mentioned my Motivation Board a couple of times. I find it really nice to physically see some motivating phrases, maps, and other reminders before I go to sleep and as soon as I wake.
