First half of 2017 Reivew
Well… look at this poor neglected blog! The last monthly review I published was way back in November. Oops. I’ve been a little busy, maybe too busy. But hopefully things will be settling down soon and I can get back to regular blogging and some sort of routine. I haven’t been recording my hours of sleep, nor my weight on a regular basis. John Scott, the People’s MVP
This is a story about a hockey player. But even more than that, it’s a story about a human. I started writing this as a Facebook post but it got much longer and detailed than I expected. I know this blog is mostly about running, but this is a great motivational story that transcends hockey, and kind of just warms the heart. No, Master Bruce. I expect you to run
So, this post is slightly out of the usual, but it was so clever that I HAD to share it. I’ll be honest, I don’t watch the Gotham TV series. I sometimes see glimpses of it on TV, but mostly I’ve learned about it through things people post on Tumblr. The show is essentially a crime drama, but it is set in the Batman comic book universe shortly after Bruce Wayne’s parent’s are murdered and long before he dons the cape and cowl.
